These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website https://cretaboatrental.gr and the services provided by Creta Boat Rental (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking a boat with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking & Payment

• Reservations can be made via our website, WhatsApp, or in person at our office.
• A valid ID/passport must be presented before departure.
• Payment is required before the rental begins.
• Fuel is charged based on actual consumption and is not included in the rental price.

2. Rental Conditions

• No boating license is required for boats up to 30 HP (our fleet).
• The minimum age for the driver is 18 years.
• Maximum capacity must not exceed the limit specified for each boat.
• The renter is responsible for the boat, passengers, and equipment during the rental period.

3. Safety & Responsibilities

• Life jackets and mandatory safety equipment are provided on all boats.
• A safety briefing is given before departure.
• The renter agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by our staff.
• The Company is not liable for accidents or damages caused by negligence or failure to comply with safety rules.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the rental time.
• 50% charge for cancellations made less than 48 hours before rental.
• No refund for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
• If weather conditions are unsafe, the Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the rental with a full refund.

5. Use of Website

• You may not use our website for unlawful purposes or activities.
• All text, images, and media on this site are property of Creta Boat Rental and may not be reproduced without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from boat rental or website use.

7. Privacy & GDPR

Your personal data is collected and processed according to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Greek law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Heraklion, Crete.
